JOB INFORMATION

The position is responsible for identifying servicing quality through the development of servicing metrics and recommending strategies for improvement in Fannie Mae's non-agency book of business. .
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop non-agency servicing analytics using loan level data, Collaborate with servicing consultants to develop servicing analysis
  • Produce ad hoc servicing analysis, Develop hypotheses regarding opportunities for increased servicer performance
  • Share analysis in a clear manner with internal and external business partners,
  • Examine, or direct staff to examine current and recent transactions and associated risk parameters to assess their accuracy and to feed back to policy staff and modeling staff empirical data for their to evaluate the utility of current policies and models.
  • Report to senior management on the unit's production, activities, and efforts. Represent the unit as an expert or resource to cross-functional project or coordinating teams.
  • Plan, document, and manage the performance of subordinate managers and/or staff. Provide for professional or technical growth through assignment, mentoring, or training.
  • Plan and manage the unit's budget. Approve expenditures or budget transfers.

Skills

EDUCATION


Bachelor's degree or higher
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
7 plus years of related experience

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • SAS
  • SQL
  • LoanPerformance Securities data
  • Strong knowledge of servicing practices and metrics
  • Strong knowledge of the non-agency market and collateral types
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to link technical analysis to actionable recommendations
