Liquid Capital Markets is a financial services company engaged in the proprietary trading, market making, and broking of derivative products globally. The company is headquartered in London, with offices in Sydney, Chicago, New York, Hong Kong and China.

We employ about 300 people and have offices worldwide. We have in-house developed trading software to support our traders and, due to the success of the business (in spite of current market conditions), are continuing to expand.  

We are looking for a senior project manager to:

  1. Establish a reporting mechanism to report back and monitor on the production/delivery aspects of the business - initially global Exchange connectivity work.
  2. Implement a project management framework by managing development and infrastructure projects to successful completion, often from a remote global position to the work, with a particular focus on status reporting and communication planning and execution.
  3. In due course to develop a team to deliver on a decentralised basis in each region, with a centralised reporting mechanism to Senior Technology Management

Essential:

  • Significant experience of IT project management
  • Experience of having worked in a banking / financial services environment

 Desirable:

  • Knowledge and understanding of derivatives.
  • PRINCE2
  • Experience of a variety of development processes.
  • Experience of leading a team.
