A leading financial firm is looking a senior application analyst to join their front office team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support of DMA/FIX/Algo Trading systems (in-house applications or Fidessa) to business users and external clients
• Implement short-term fixes and long-term enhancements as well as automation strategies (testing, installation, configuration, etc)
• Be the subject matter expert of the systems and be able to contribute enhancement ideas to global technology teams
• Build and maintain strong relationship with the front office business users
• Coordinate with various technology teams to conduct UAT

Requirements:

• 2 to 8+ years of front office support experience for Cash Equity (Any ONE of DMA/FIX, Algo, or Fidessa) trading systems (There are multiple openings and the seniority of this role will be determined by the candidate's experience level)
• Excellent technical support skills in Unix, Windows, scripting (shell, Perl), FIX, and SQL
• Excellent inter-personal, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with global teams
• Able to trive in a face-paced front office environment - ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks
• Strong technical background in software development life cycle would be desirable but not necessary (C#, C++, Java)
