Managing Director National (Key) Accounts

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Managing Director National Accounts. This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance for the distribution efforts at ProFund Advisors LLC within the supermarket, insurance, and broker/dealer channels.

  1. Develop business plans for each partner; prioritize partner relationships, individual and department goals, performance metrics, performance plans, compensation plans, and reporting mechanisms to facilitate department goals.
  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities and relationships, with the objective of closing new selling agreements.
  3. Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.
  4. Collaborate and coordinate Distribution team efforts with marketing, legal, portfolio, management, internal systems, product management and teams to facilitate identifying viability and implementation of new business opportunities
  5. Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, and business partnerships.
  6. Identify revenue programs and facilitate finance, legal and sales practices.
  7. Review resource planning, reporting, territories, incentives and communications for the distribution team to ensure alignment with department and company goals.
  8. Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.

Education and Experience:

1.BA/BS degree or equivalent experience and appropriate NASD licenses required.

2.Demonstrated record of successfully developing and implementing business plans and strategies, performance plans, and reporting methodologies.

3.Demonstrated record of successful business development and client relationships in the financial professional channel.

4.Demonstrated people-oriented management experience, leading a team of people, and a minimum of 10 years overall business experience and at least five years within the mutual fund industry.

5.Possess in-depth understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management, and client-service strategies

6.Understand the needs of partners in order to identify “critical” services they must have, competitive services they expect to have and additional services they would like to have.

7.Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
