Working closely with senior management, you will monitor and ensures compliance with internal and external guidelines, as well as policies and regulations. This will include being responsible for the analysis and resolution of operational problems, special client requests, contract negotiations and new product launches. Your responsibilities will include: • Participate in management of daily relationships with outside vendors (service providers, transfer agents, custodians, fund accountants, consultants) • Coordinate procedures and review controls with other offices • Establish new platform accounts, including contract negotiation • Review and ensure compliance with service level agreements • Facilitate information flow to portfolio managers, middle office and sales departments • Participate in short and long-term projects in a lead and support role • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, policies and regulations relating to investment operations • Analyze and resolve operational issues and trouble shoot • Respond to special requests from clients, banks, trust companies, broker/dealers, and service providers • Periodic on-site visits and testing of service providers For this position you will have the following skillset: - A good knowledge of all aspects of client funds dealing in the UK OEIC & UCITS market, including settlement systems and time frames, multicurrency dealing, wrap accounts, platforms, regulations as well as some knowledge of custody and equity trading.
