Success in the role will require technical expertise with C++, templates and STL windows and Unix platform, knowledge of STL , understanding of full lifecycle development, from design / development / documentation to implementation.

Demonstrated experience in building out large-scale systems and a passion for technology will be the hallmark of the most qualified candidates. Both eager jr level candidates from in the finance world and mid level super stars from telecoms / technology industry WELCOME.

You will be expected to develop the infrastructure for trading applications, risk tools, pricing analytics applications as well as take part in some systems level development. Real time Multi-threading systems, exchange connectivity, asynchronous development with parallel computing are all key skills for this role.

Essential skills Strong VC++ on windows Standard template library ( STL and Boost ) This is a small team so this person must be a c++ expert as they will be working on a million line code base. Heavy Multithreading. Must know SQL and Excel is very important for success

Desirable - Finance Knowledge is a plus, as is an analytical background. Should have worked in a front office environment. Knowledge of Bonds and Swaps is major plus Experience with MFC will be a plus

As this is a front office, mission critical environment you must be prepared and happy to be working with the Quants and Traders directly, sitting on the trading floor.
