The Role Bloomberg is looking for a passionate, experienced individual to join the Portfolio and Risk Analytics Business Group, concentrating on Equities. This individual will be part of an exciting new revenue generating business area focusing on strategic development of tools designed for Portfolio Managers and Buyside Analysts. This multi-asset solution, fully integrated with the power of the core Bloomberg terminal, will formulate the definitive desktop for the buy-side community.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: - Spending time with customers to gather feedback and define strategic business direction - Working with teammates to formulate the business plan - Documenting business requirements for projects associated with the business plan - Consulting with the Research & Development team as they build new functionality - The release and marketing new functionality with global salesforce and customers
Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years experience working with Equity securities, ideally as either a Bloomberg customer or with a competing vendor - In depth understanding of the portfolio analytic tools used by the equity buyside community - Understanding of equity attribution and risk - Strong industry contacts in the equity space - Strong organization and communication skills
