My client a leading Investment Banking / Management Company is looking to recruit a C++ Developer (Performance & Risk Developer) to work within their Private Wealth Management division Performance and Risk. The team is responsible for the systems that measure a portfolios performance and risk - this covers a range of areas and applications. Members of the team have direct interaction with the business and work closely with them to develop and enhance these applications. The role requires an experienced hands-on C++ developer with a track record of working on challenging projects in a distributed UNIX environment. Responsibilities will include the development of performance related projects of various sizes through the full life cycle, including business requirements, design, implementation and deployment. The skills required Strong Object Oriented Design and programming skills with C/C++, UNIX, and SQL / RDBMS. ETL Good numerate skills. Strong communication skills are essential and a willingness to learn new business areas and technology. Wealth Management experience. Exposure to Java, C#, ETL, SOA and pub/sub frameworks is an added advantage.
