Leading European Investment Bank is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to manage the data sourcing and analysis needed for a system implementation project across Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for analyzing business reporting detail and data sourcing. You will assess the effectiveness of management systems and controls across Asia Pacific.

Day to day responsibilities include supervision of the system flow, data analysis and development of staff. You will also be involved in reporting findings to senior management and make recommendations to address the issues uncovered. You will manage a team to work with other project managers and reporting manager.

Close liaison with the product control, financial reporting, and MI reporting functions will form a critical part of your role. You will also have a high level of interaction with local regulators.

You will be a seasoned business analyst with a minimum of 8 years experience on data sourcing, data analysis and system analysis for user requirements. You will have outstanding leadership skills, with a proven track record in people management. You are able to explain the user requirement on reporting in details to IT developers. Candidates should have good presentation skills and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently. Exposure to GL system would be an advantage.

Treasury and investment banking product experience would be an advantage, however, a commercial banking background would be considered.
