Our client is going to be merging their public and private retirement plan channels into one. They are looking for a candidate with the seniority and knowledge to lead the division through this transition and into the future.
The ideal person will manage the business development area for Retirement Plans, develop and implement product strategies, case enhancements and other business objectives. Additionally this person will ensure strong business partnerships, be an active member of the group leadership team, and participate in steering committees.
Responsibilities:
Lead the initiation and development of product and project strategies to meet customer needs and achieve business unit goals, including time spent on Steering Committees.
Be an active member of the department leadership team.
Conduct product, market, business planning and development activities.
Plan department strategy and implementation
Perform legislative and regulatory monitoring
Manage department staff.
Evaluate competitive position of division products and services.
Recommend solutions to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
Undergraduate studies in Marketing, Business, Insurance or related field.
Working knowledge of financial products, product development and retirement plans regulations and compliance requirements.
NASD Series 6 & 26.
10-15 years experience in financial services. Life Insurance product development required.
Compensation:
Base 200+k (will pay more depending on experience level) + additional comp components and bonus = 424k target total compensation.
