An attractive opportunity has arisen for a qualified

Controller Financial Investments.

You will be working within the Trade and Investment control. It involves close interaction with the trade instruction function and the executing department. As a Controller Financial Investments you are part of a small team.

For specific trust entities and accounts the role includes but is not limited to:
• Daily reconciliation of settled trades, cash and investment movements, investigation of breaks for trades and corporate actions
• Monthly reconciliation of investments held at the Parent bank and Trust entities to participant liabilities
• Determination of the appropriate month end accruals for asset-liability mis-matches, open trades, mark-to-market etc.
• Reconciliation of asset and liability ledger with financial general ledger
• Optimisation of processes and reports

Requirements

To succeed you bring the following qualifications and skills to the role:
• Degree in Business Administration, University or University of applied science with focus on accounting and controlling
• Experience in Banking or any other financial institutions
• General understanding of options/compensation plans and trading operations
• Strong analytical skills and an accurate, structured and proactive work approach
• Good understanding of IT structures and tools for reporting
• Proficiency of English
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges as this role is in the process of being automated
