Front Office Excel VBA Developer is needed to work within the Derivatives IT Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for acting as analyst and developer in support of the trading desk. You will need to understand the current applications and processes as well as identify extensions and new functionality.

You will also carry out development utilising a variety of the latest technologies on systems and feeds between spreadsheets, front office data stores and back office channels. As well as gaining exposure to the derivatives business and the trading process you will have a lot of liaison with the emerging markets trading desk in order to understand complex business problems and business requirements in order to develop enhancements.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong design and development skills in Excel VBA as well as good exposure to XML, C# and VB. It is essential that you have Front Office experience and your business knowledge should include analysis and Fixed Income. Knowledge of Derivatives and Emerging Markets is preffered and by no means essential.
