This is an excellent opportunity to join the Asset Management arm of a top tier European Bank as a Fund Distribution Manager for their Private Bank clients in Hong-Kong and Taiwan.
The individual will be accountable for investment sales to private banks in Hong Kong & Taiwan
Responsibilities:
Execute the investment sales function in designated region:
Working in conjunction with global and regional investment sales, develop and execute a coordinated direct solicitation program aimed at gaining new business by selling investment services to private banks in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Achieve sales objectives set by the Company for new sales with HK private banks and be rewarded by sales commission,
Act as a key contact for private bank clients,
Deliver regular sales presentations to prospects and assist in the delivery of due diligence presentations,
Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of our client's investment strategies,
Provide market feedback on local conditions and competitive threats
Work with marketing, sales support and fund management staff throughout the firm.
People Skills:
Work closely in a collegial team environment within the Hong Kong sales team,
Ensure a collaborative approach is used with both Marketing and Client Services groups,
Be capable of working independently with minimal direction, yet be as collaborative as needed.
Knowledge /Skills /Competencies:
University degree, preferably in business, finance or economics. CFA designation or equivalent would be preferred,
Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in the financial sector.
Proven track record in selling investment management products,
Knowledge of the investment industry, competitive products and distribution systems,
