The position of Senior Specialist– Shareholder/Transfer Agency requires a conscientious and self-motivated individual capable of overseeing a team that provides shareholder services to hedge funds, limited partnerships and other alternative investment vehicles.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise a team responsible for the administration of shareholder services including processing transactions, communication with clients and other parties involved in the business process and preparation of periodic shareholder statements.

• Participate in day-to-day process as necessary to ensure that all deadlines and client expectations are met

• Handle complex shareholder queries and requests as received

• Assist in the development and training of staff

• Carryout ad hoc projects as required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or three years experience in a similar transfer agency role.

• Two years practical experience in transfer agency in hedge funds

• Sound knowledge of anti-money laundering due diligence procedures

• Some knowledge of hedge fund accounting practices knowledge of hedge fund structures

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ensure all interactions with our clients are of superior nature, and act with the highest level of customer centric service. 

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task

• Strong knowledge of PC based applications , including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to work overtime as required
