The position of Intermediate Operations Representative requires an organized and motivated individual with excellent communication and time management skills. The Intermediate Operations Representative provides a wide variety of administrative duties within the transfer agency group for a portfolio of alternative investment vehicles (hedge funds). 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and audit of all client and investor activity for compliance with  procedures and regulations

• Maintain accurate records of status of completeness for client files

• Follow-up with clients to obtain additional documentation and clarifications

• Vet and process all shareholder activity, including subscriptions, redemptions and share transfers in accordance with each client’s offering document and constitutive documents, maintaining share registers, communication with both clients and shareholders and basic cash management

• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly client and shareholder reporting and servicing deadlines are met

• Deal with high volumes of confidential work

• Assist clients and investors queries

• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks in the office

• Ad hoc projects as required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• A minimum of one year’s experience in mutual or hedge fund services

• Post-secondary education and CSC/IFIC certification is preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Working knowledge of anti-money laundering and KYC rules in various jurisdictions

• Working knowledge of company, partnership and trust constitutional documents and ownership structures

• Familiarity with internationally recognized certification protocols

• Working knowledge of interbank payments systems

• Ensure all interactions with our clients are of superior nature, and act with the highest level of customer centric service. 

• Superior verbal and written communication skills

• Strong knowledge of PC based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to meet tight deadlines with flexibility to work overtime at short notice
