You defy accounting stereotypes, are both meticulous and motivated. and money management fascinates you. You have direct, indisputable, verifiable experience with hedge fund accounting and possibly private equity too. You want to immerse yourself in the international world of asset managment.
For both a fixed income and long-only equity assets, you will help prepare daily, month-end, and year-end accounting for private hedge funds and long only funds, both corporate and partnership. As new strategies are deployed, you will learn them and grow your product knowledge, along with the investments and the managers.
You should have a degree in accounting, and a minimum of three years of fund accounting experience.
Experience with accounting for private funds is preferred.
Experience with portfolio accounting systems, strong Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
