This highly successful European based software vendor is expanding globally and they are looking to establish a dominant presence in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. As Vice President for Asia you will be the business manager responsible for architecting the organisations success in this region. With well established Trading Technology solutions already in use by a range of trusted brands you have the ideal platform from which to grow this business. Your responsibilities will be broad and will include the following: • As a satellite office as part of a larger organisation, this individual will need to follow global strategies, while setting local processes and procedures in place • The successful individual will need to be able to handle high levels of autonomy, making business critical decisions as part of our growth in Asia • Initially focusing on the Operations side of setting up and establishing a solid Support and Sales base within Hong Kong • The candidate will initially be involved in all levels of the Sales cycle as well as Client Management during the initial growth of the office • This role will be reporting directly into the Managing Director The following skills and experience will be essential: • Must be able to sell complex and highly technical software systems • You will have had management experience within a software product company • Good understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures This is a truly unique opportunity for the right individual; it is the kind of challenge that requires a particular drive and energy to be successful.
