Global Hedge Fund in New York is seeking a Senior Software Developer possessing 6-10 years of software development at a hedge fund. In addition to strong programming skills, candidate must have prior exposure to fixed income derivatives. Exceptional academic qualifications a must.Responsibilities include developing applications to be used in all business areas; trading, risk management, operations, etc.  Ideal candidate will have experience in developing trade processing, P&L, risk management, cash management, trade operations, and STP systems. Other areas of focus will include development of libraries and infrastructure for working with C++ models, database programming and management, Excel/VBA interface development, Perl utilities, messaging layers, real time data feed client/server applications, and automated trading interfaces.  A high degree of motivation and ability to thrive in a high pressure-trading environment is a must. Please speak with Barry for more information regarding this position.
