Main duties and responsibilities:

* Analyze counterparties for new transactions and annual and documentation reviews with China, Hong Kong and Taiwan as primary markets

* Travel to participate in due diligence, particularly for structured deals

* Work closely with FID coverage on legal and structuring issues

* Transaction approvals for live trades

* Preparation for audit and regulatory inspections

* Credit excess management

* Support to Regional Credit Heads in portfolio management responsibilities and Hedge Fund and Leveraged Finance activities in the Asia Pac Region on an ad-hoc basis

* Participate to mentor and coach junior staff

Skills

Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

* Financial modelling

Desirable:

* Product and/or market risk

* Loan or derivative structuring

Competencies:

* Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin

* Independent, team player and can work under pressure

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

Essential:

* Undergraduate degree

Desirable:

* Accounting/Finance background

* MBA/CFA/CPA

Work Experience:

Essential:

* 5-10 years experience from financial institution/agency

* Corporate Credit training

Desirable:

* Experience with non-investment grade credits in China

* Loan structuring

* Leveraged Finance/Hedge Fund background

Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

* Financial modelling

Desirable:

* Product and/or market risk

* Loan or derivative structuring
