The exotics commodity trading desk of an investment bank is currently looking for someone to start-up their risk management disk in Singapore. .
A good knowledge of commodity products is an absolute must (oil, base/precious metals and soft commodities). Front office exposure is also an absolute must with a good history of working in a numerate environment. This desk is relatively new so the new risk manager will need to actively participate in a number of different projects maintain strong relationships across the business and be able to understand the nature of market risks associated with an exotic commodities trading portfolio and be able to make decisive risk assessments .
