Position Description: Junior Commodity Compliance Coverage
Position Description: The candidate should have a working knowledge of North American energy markets and environmental rules and regulations relevant to the sales, trading, transport, storage and marketing of crude oil and petroleum products as well as related financial derivatives. The candidate should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required: Job Requirements:
1. Regular review of commodity surveillance reports for possible violations of regulatory rules and Firm policies. 2. Provide advice to business and support units on regulatory rules and Firm policies. 3. Assist management in responding to regulatory inquiries, examinations and investigations. 4. Coordinate with futures compliance staff on issues related to commodity business unit's listed derivative activity. 5. Draft and update Compliance Notices and Manuals. 6. Implement compliance policies and procedures. 7. Assist in development of training programs on relevant regulations for business unit and support staffs. 8. Assist management in the new product approval process. 9. Assist in completion of ad hoc compliance projects. 10. Assist in desk reviews and examinations.
