Number two role in new fund raising and relationship building team in ambitious, international private equity adviser and fund of funds with strong client service ethos

This is a fund raising and client relationship building role in an ambitious US private equity fund of funds advisor and investor which is growing its European activities and client base. You will work with the Client Service and Business Development VP to build and maintain new client relationships across the European limited partner market specifically focusing on German speaking countries, Benelux or Scandinavia. The team is new and you will be the second person in which means that you will help grow the business and contribute to the business development strategy going forward. With less than ten people in the office as whole you will be part of a friendly team all working to the same goal of establishing this business in Europe. There is a top quartile remuneration package.
You should be enthusiastic about sales and business development and ideally have the following experience.
Strong client relationship track record and evidence of building lasting relationships with an institutional client base ideally in private equity but could be other institutional sales
A northern European contact base
Strong academic background and career pedigree
Ability to work alone and take responsibility for developing a market
Fluent spoken and written English with German or a Nordic language
