This is a critical position to develop the intermediaries business in Japan.
Retail investors in Japan are shifting from savings to investment. BJL only has limited business in arrangements where end investors are retail.
In order to take advantage of our key position at this stage in the intermediary market, it is critical to bring on board someone with strong experience in the retail distribution / intermediary business.
Key responsibilities
Development of strategic business plan in entering the intermediaries business in Japan and identifying what is necessary to succeed in this area.
Building relationships with potential business partners and bringing in profitable business.
The individual will work closely with all areas of business, Investments, Investment Services, Investment Trust Management, Products Planning etc.
Skills and Experience Desired
Knowledge of the financial services industry, its participants and products
Strong sales / marketing capability with ability to execute deals
