This position is responsible for management of Active Equity portfolios, making documents of investment results, and researching investment ideas.
The successful candidate will work with portfolio managers, researchers, client relationship group, operations, and IT developers to communicate effectively and to deliver the better service to clients. He/she should be creative and enjoy team work. Potentially the candidate will also demonstrate initiatives in business development by learning BGI’s business model and products.
Responsibilities:
Proactively handle portfolio rebalancing process and documentation process in partnership with other portfolio managers. Manage the process with strong timeline controls and attentions to operational risk to deliver our financial service to clients.
Continuously improve these processes to increase business efficiency, fiduciary responsibilities and quality of services. Proactively search new ideas of improvement and communicate with managers and/ or colleagues to discuss about.
Generate new ideas or improvements for BGI’s quantitative model of Active Equity Strategies or help portfolio mangers doing it. Learn and research about market environment, new technology in finance, investments theory and business.
Focus on needs by clients, either internal clients or external. Think carefully benefits for our clients and work flexibly across different roles or responsibilities like as owning the business for one BGI.
