Our client a leading global agency brokers develops advanced trading technologies that connect portfolio managers and traders directly to equity markets throughout the world

My client’s single focus is to help investors pursue best execution globally through advanced technology and true agency trading. Due to further expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced corporate actions & dividends analyst. The role holder will be responsible for the timely and accurate Capture, Reconciliation, notification and processing of all corporate actions and dividend activity for all event types within their designated European Markets. Responsibilities will include:

• Extraction of event notifications from agent banks and data providers. Ensure the information is accurate and received in a timely basis.

• Ensure events are correctly updated into the company systems and fully diarised.

• Manage positions and client contact throughout Corporate Action entitlement process.

• Processing of all Corporate Action elections, with entitlements being fully reconciled and chased regularly until completion.

• Reconciliation of dividend entitlements and management of claims processing, ensuring all claims are lodged on a timely basis and chased regularly for completion.

• Reconciliation of dividend and corporate action cash accounts

• Evaluate and implement repatriation of French Corporate Entitlements to the London Office.

• Pro-active involvement with back office systematic development testing and migration programs.

• Maintain, develop and enhance current company procedures through checklists and guidelines for all individual designated regional markets

To be successful in this role you must have strong corporate actions & dividends experience. This role would suit an individual whom has previous experience within an Inter Dealer Broker or an Equity Brokerage House. It would be advantageous but not essential that the role holder have a working knowledge of GLOSS or SYN systems. You must be a proven self starter, excellent team player, good communication skills both written and verbal coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
