Leading global bank is expanding and seeks a Director level candidate for corporate banking relationship managment opening.

The key purpose of the Director role is to lead, manage, develop and drive business initiatives in order to compete in chosen markets and deliver annual income, balance and volume targets in line with agreed business plans. Core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

-Meeting income and profitability objectives. -Identifying appropriate cross sale referrals to partner companies with specific focus on treasury, capital market and securitization products -Proactive identification of opportunities to develop income, by recommending and implementing solutions, analyzing new lending proposals, negotiating terms and conditions of credit facilities and services after consultation with all relevant parties. -Identification and development of new business leads and introductions. -Preparation, management and monitoring of business plans, sector plans and relationship plans for the portfolio -Management, motivation and development of team members. -Frequent US Domestic travel will be required as part of role. Travel to London office can also be expected on at least an annual basis.

Required:

-Minimum four (4) + years of experience in a marketing role with an established US or foreign bank. -Minimum three (3) years experience as a relationship manager where he/she is the primary relationship contact. He/she will be expected to operate independently and as a team leader. -Established contacts with clients across a broad industry spectrum. General Manufacturing and Aerospace and Defense figure prominently in the current portfolio. -Past experience in marketing/overseeing the cross sale of Capital Markets, FX, interest rate hedging and securitization products essential.
