Experienced SQL based database developer sought to join systematic trading group. The role will focus on all aspects of automated data collection and database design, programming and management in a Windows environment, reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer.
The successful candidate will have exceptional technical skills and at least 5 years’ commercial development experience. Familiarity with SQL Server and C++ (or a similar object oriented programming language) will be essential whilst expertise in web development technologies would be an advantage. Applicants should have a good academic background (ideally 2.i or equivalent in a technical discipline). Prior exposure to a financial environment would interest us, but is by no means prerequisite.
