Major investment firm seeks experienced programmer to maintain financial/market database and build data analytic and portfolio management tools. Position calls for a solid foundation within the Linux programming environment. Financial industry experience with large Databases and large File Systems required.
Experience in Futures, Commodities, and related markets is a plus. Position calls for strong communication skills. Candidate must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
Required Skills
Programming in the Linux Platform
Strong SQL skills ( such as MS SQL, PostGred SQL, Oracle, or Sybase ) with database design and maintenance experience.
C++ and OOP design
Shell scripting and Object Oriented Perl

Compensation $120,000 – 150,000+ commensurate with experience. Must be based and eligible to work in the U.S.
