Junior Research Analyst needed by Hedge Fund in Stamford
A rapidly growing hedge fund in Stamford, CT is looking for a junior research analyst to perform ad hoc strategy research for their portfolio managers. On a day to day basis the research analyst will be responsible for researching strategy ideas across all sectors in the financial markets, sourcing for and gathering relevant data, and presenting their findings to senior management. The ideal candidate will be highly quantitative. Requirements Include:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a research function (Economist, Equity Research, etc.)
- Ability to work independently to gather and synthesize information and data.
- Masters Degree in computational finance, statistics, sciences, or other quantitative discipline.
