Job Purpose:


RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING & IMPLEMENTING:-

• LINE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES ACROSS BOTH CITI AND EGG PORTFOLIOS TO DRIVE INCREASED ENR / EBIT (50%)
• THE ACTIVATION STRATEGY ACROSS BOTH CITI & EGG PORTFOLIOS INCREASING ACTIVATIONS & USAGE (25%)
• PARTNERSHIP ECM STRATEGY ACROSS ALL CITI PARTNER PRODUCTS (25%)


Job background/ context:

THIS ROLE SITS WITHIN THE PORTFOLIO TEAM WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING CAMPAIGNS TO MEET PORTFOLIO KPI'S. THE TEAM WORK CLOSELY WITH COLLEAGUES IN DECISION MANAGEMENT, CREDIT/RISK, FINANCE, MARKETING AND TECHNOLOGY TO BUILD PROGRAMMES THAT SUPPORT THE CARDS P&L.

Please note this vacancy is a fixed term maternity cover contract position, the duration of this fixed term contract may be up to 12 months.

Key responsibilities:

  • Activation
    Lead the development of the activation strategy across both Citi and Egg portfolios. Manage activation lead to deliver against objectives.
  • Deliver new campaigns from within the portfolio activity plan – focussing on activation and early card usage.
  • Line Management
    Develop business proposals for all line management campaigns including marketing strategy, selection criteria, creative execution, timing, offer, test objectives, and projected profit and breakeven (depending on the activity this may be as business lead or as contributor to a credit lead initiative).
  • Work with Decision Management and Credit/Risk to test and implement selection criteria and risk policies to optimise profitability of line management strategies.
  • Partnerships
    Work with the Partnerships team to:-
    - agree and deliver against Partnership ECM goals
    - develop and manage all Partnership ECM communications in the most efficient and effective way (i.e. avoiding duplication of effort)
  • General
    Ensure the customer experience is managed effectively and that all activity complies with TCF principles and is compliant with audit requirements.
  • Manage internal relations including Credit/Risk, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Services, Decision Management, Legal and Technology to ensure efficient management of activity.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence key drivers of the Cards P&L through working on Projects and initiatives which will generate real bottom line benefit. The role provides the opportunity to work with a range of key stakeholders across the UK Card business, this is a high profile role which will allow the successful candidate to develop their skills working with all business functions.

    Skills

    Knowledge/ experience:


    Previous experience of successful direct marketing campaign management (ideally in an FS environment)
    Can demonstrate experience of:
    - leading and contributing to high profile projects
    - working across business functions
    - managing multiple campaigns
    - managing a budget
    - liaising with key business stakeholders to develop campaigns


    Skills:

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office

  • Qualifications:
