An international Investment Bank with a rapidly expanding presence in Asia is currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Developer/Analyst to join their Front Office IT Sales team at Associate Director level. Sales IT is responsible for building and delivering execution, pricing, research and analytics systems to external clients, sales and trading. Successful candidates will be focused on building an eCommerce platform for structured products across multiple asset classes which will be used by internal sales and trading as well as eternal clients.
The role will require analysis, coordination, development and delivery of projects, systems and initiatives that support the sales function. Successful candidates will be working to develop and maintain the existing systems used by the Sales IT teams by meeting with users (sales and sales assistants) to capture requirements; developing applications and tools based on requirements; and managing testing, UAT and deployment of applications and tools.
Technically candidates should have:
Extensive Java and Object Oriented programming skills
Knowledge of J2EE, VBA, SQL, XML, EXCEL
Solid Java development experience within a Front Office IT environment in a financial institution
Experience of working with remote development teams C++, JSP, .Net, SQL
Japanese speaking candidates would be considered favourably.
