Our client is a global investment Bank with an exciting vision for their Asian business. Due to rapid expansion of their Singapore office, some exciting positions have arisen within the Operations team.
In this role, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for either Derivatives Settlement (Pre or Post) or Derivatives Pricing Fixing and Processing. You will be cross trained into different financial products within Derivatives Operations - Commodities, Options, Equities, IRD Rates, Swaps etc. You are proficient with trade confirmation, settlement processing and reconciliation.
You will conduct operation functions per Internal Control Standards for Derivatives Operations - Settlement or Fixing team
You will service internal client groups and be able to resolve discrepancies should situation arise.
You will assist with identifying and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
As you will be working closely with Senior Management across the business on various initiatives, highly developed interpersonal skills are mandatory.
You are flexible and able to adapt to new businesses and cope with changing priorities.
You are, and will be a high performer that keeps abreast with market and industry changes with constant upgrading of skills and knowledge.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:-
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent qualifications
Associate role - Up to 2 years relevant experience in financial industry
Senior Associate role - 2 to 5 years relevant experience in financial industry
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Analytical mindset
Advanced communication skills
Meticulous and a team player
Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
