To contribute to presentations for new lending transactions to credit committee 3. Where bank is nominated as technical bank, to provide in depth analysis of reserves in place and likely future production profiles and to be main point of contact for other banks with regard to their Q&A 4. Where the bank is participant, to review the work of the technical bank and to provide summary, comments and recommendations, engaging in Q&A with the technical bank 5. To provide frequent ongoing monitoring of fields
We are looking for:
A strong track record in reserve engineering, as geologist or geophysisist 1. BS degree in engineering eg Petroleum Engineering (or similar) 2. Proven results in improving the profitability of a field using reservoir analysis. 3. Demonstrated ability to use petroleum engineering theory to solve problems and identify enhancement opportunities. 4. Ability to interact effectively with cross functional teams and non-technical personnel, plus ability to present own case to senior management 5. Proficiency in reservoir engineering and pattern management practices including performance forecasting. 6. Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with 80% of the data/information available. 7. Understanding of oil and gas finance in relation to reserves and economics. 8. Must have fundamental understanding of petroleum reservoir engineering principles 9. Experience of prospect evaluation and early phase development 10. Knowledge and experience of policies regarding the booking of reserves 11. High proficiency in all required technical and economic software packages, together with Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
