Incumbent assists portfolio managers in the selection, evaluation, and on-going monitoring of external hedge fund managers. Individual should expect a high degree of personal interaction both within the firm and externally with the hedge fund community at large. Candidates should have a strong understanding of capital markets and complex investment strategies along with a strong knowledge of finance and technology. The qualified candidate should possess an aptitude for qualitative and quantitative reasoning and problem solving, and be experienced with spreadsheets and databases. The incumbent should possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Often participates in client presentations. May compile fund performance statistics and may conduct attribution studies for clients. Responsible for the production of client reports and economic data for the investment committee.

Three to five years of investment experience in an allied field. MBA and/or CFA is preferred, equivalent experience is acceptable. Strong communication (written/oral), analytical, computer skills essential, proficiency in MS applications. Excellent time/project management, organizational & follow-up skills. Attention to detail & deadlines, work independently under pressure as well as collaborate effectively in team structure.
