The Financial Institutions team is a successful team with significant presence and deal flow within the FI markets. This post will require you to understand the business, needs and sensitivities of the client, propose suitable products and services, oversee the implementation of your commercial propositions, respond quickly and in a transparent way to questions from both internal and external clients, describe and present requests and/or credit proposals and convince internal decision-makers, manage counterparty credit limits, maintain extensive contacts with colleagues throughout the banking group (especially FI colleagues worldwide).

The ideal candidate will either:

Have a consistent track record within investment banking, banking or an accountancy firm focusing ideally on Financial Institutions deals. Ideally you will have strong technical, advisory and consultancy skills, with the commercial ability to execute deals and assist in building strong client relationships in the Financial Institutions market.

OR

Have a strong track record with the Australian Banking market not necessarily within Financial Institutions. Your experience may cover a diverse industry mix.

Academically we seek degree qualified bankers however highly experience bankers will also be considered.
