Drive our business forward in a role combining both audit and advisory services.  As one of the worlds’ largest audit Firms, joining us will allow you to play an integral role, working with a range of significant  Corporate (including plcs and private equity backed entities) and Non Corporate (including NHS and higher education institutions and local government bodies and pension schemes) organisations.

As an Assistant Manager or Manager with Deloitte, the audit element of the role will include you assisting with the management of the audit of key clients.  This will involve audit planning, day to day management of field teams including review of audit work, liaison with key client staff and the management of the reporting process. 
 
Further responsibilities will include: 
  • Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales
  • Budgeting time allocation to assignments and explaining variances from budget
  • Participation in transaction support roles or other non-audit engagements
  • Auditing accounts prepared under UK or US GAAP or IFRS.

Qualifications
 
To be considered you will ideally possess: 
  • ACA or equivalent qualification or experience (preferably first time passes)
  • Previous audit experience in a large firm environment
  • Commercial awareness of current economic and market trends
  • Developed project management skills
  • An analytical approach with a motivated and committed attitude
  • The ability to develop strong client relationships
