Our client, a leading European Bank, is quickly establishing itself as an increasingly influential and substantial player in the provision of wholesale banking products to the Australian market.
Active in the Corporate, Project & Infrastructure, Leveraged & Acquisition and Structured finance sectors, the bank is now keen to leverage on this success with the appointment of an experienced Real Estate Financier at Director Level. The successful candidate will take full Profit & Loss responsibility for the growth and development of this Property Finance Function.
Responsibilities will include:
Generation of new business;
Working closely with other areas within the bank with a specific responsibility for providing Property Finance solutions;
Structuring and negotiating complex property financings;
Strategic involvement in shaping the strategy for this area.
Candidates will ideally have:
Extensive background in arranging commercial real estate finance in the Australian Market;
In-depth experience of structuring both senior and subordinated/ mezzanine debt deals;
First class communication skills, both written and verbal;
Strong motivational skills;
A formal credit background.
