The Head of Derivatives Technology will be responsible for all Derivatives Technology globally.


The Head of Derivatives Technology will lead the Derivatives technology group within Investment Systems and is the Customer Relationship Manager for the Derivatives business function. The Head of Derivatives Technology will be responsible for all the system initiatives in the Derivatives arena, as well as oversight of the support of the ongoing systems.

The Head of Derivatives Technology will be an experienced leader of projects and personnel, with knowledge and experience in Derivatives systems or functions across front, middle and back offices. This position is responsible for advancing Derivatives system initiatives to improve operations and address new business needs, as well as develop a technical strategy for the Derivatives platform. The Head of Derivative Technology will implement technology strategies to ensure successful delivery of system projects, services and maintenance to ensure business requirements are met.

Candidates must fulfill all requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.

    Domain Knowledge: Derivatives knowledge is a requirement, particularly knowledge of Futures, Forwards, FX, and Swaps. Preferred knowledge of derivatives hedging and hedge accounting (FAS 133).

    8-10 years experience working as a developer, business analyst, and/or Project Manager

    Experience implementing derivatives technology is highly preferred - Calypso

    Experience managing a team, including project managers, personnel managers, developers, and analysts; both permanent and consulting resources.

    Experience in project management and oversight of projects.

    Leader who is effective in working in a challenging and complex environment and who is able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders to lead the team to effective delivery of business solutions.
