Global leader in Financial Restructuring, European Restructuring House of the Year looking for an Analyst, Associate and a VP, based out of London. Ideally you will currently be in Leverage Finance or M&A with LBO modeling experience or Distressed Debt

This global specialist Investment Bank has the largest restructuring practice of any investment banking firm in the world. In the past 12 years, their Financial Restructuring Advisory Group has advised on over 400 transactions valued in excess of US$200bn in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Their clients include companies, bondholder groups, financial institutions, banks and other secured creditor groups, trade creditors, official Chapter 11 creditors’ committees, equity holders, acquirers, ESOP’s equity sponsors and other parties-in-interest involved with financially challenged companies. The variety of their clients and their breadth of experience allow them to better understand the dynamics of a restructuring situation and strengthen their negotiating strategy, by providing them with insight into the needs, attitudes and positions of all parties-in-interest.

Their Financial Restructuring Group members have participated in some of the largest and most prominent financial restructurings in corporate history worldwide, working with a wide range of industries and client companies to acquire a unique understanding of restructuring processes, bankruptcy laws and regulatory frameworks. In 2005 alone, the Financial Restructuring Group worked on over 100 restructuring-related transactions. The group has advised the official creditors’ committees in the four largest, and most complex, bankruptcies of all time: WorldCom, Enron, Conseco and Parmalat. Each of these situations involved a combination of complex multinational restructuring situations, financial fraud, debt-equity swaps and management of diverse creditor constituencies.

With the impact of the "credit crunch" starting to show through, this group is looking to strengthen their franchise in Europe by hiring commercially astute Investment Bankers to be based out of London.

Your background:

  • 1+ year current experience in Leveraged Finance or M&A with LBO modeling or Distressed Debt from a globally recognised institution
