Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a sizable team and direct the trade processing, confirmation and settlement operations of all types of equity derivatives (Listed/OTC Derivatives) transacted in Hong Kong and other Asian countries
  • Evaluate new product proposals and manage the launch of new businesses and systems
  • Develop global system and recommend best practice in derivatives operations by liaising with key treasury centres outside Hong Kong
  • Streamline workflows and evaluate system solutions to balance operational risks against cost
  • Minimize documentation risk and formulate international documentation standards by working closely with front office, operation managers and legal department
  • Provide effective and efficient operational support and services to business to avoid operational risk

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate, with degree in Mathematics or related discipline
  • 12 years’ or above work experience in reputable Investment Bank, with at least 6 years at managerial level
  • Solid experience in Equity Derivatives Middle and Back Office Operations and sound knowledge of ISDA documentation standards
  • Outstanding mathematical and analytical skills, with project experience in the implementation of system preferred
  • High level of people management skills with demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience dealing with regional markets
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
