Position Description:
Within the business strategy determined and under the direction of the Director, the Associate will:
Forge strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues globally;
Carry out marketing and client service functions locally;
Assist in educating the consultants in the field so that they are comfortable talking about and recommending investment strategies to potential clients;
Key Duties include:
Together with the Managing Director, International and the Director, the job holder will help successfully establish the London office to profitably service clients and potential clients in the UK, Middle East and Africa.
Articulate details of all investment strategies to introduce/sell the products to potential clients and consultants, demonstrating a clear understanding of the companies Global competitive position in the market place.
Provide “same day” service to established clients in terms of solving client operational/ billing problems or queries.
Relationship building with consultants and prospective and existing clients and dealing with day to day enquiries.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Sound commercial awareness. Up to date with economic and current events;
Demonstrable evidence of a successful track record in asset management Sales/ Marketing/Client Service – preferably relating to both Global Fixed Income and a range of equity products within the institutional Sales channel;
High energy, well dispositioned, positive thinking self starter with a sense of humor, demonstrating the highest level of integrity and personal work ethic at all times.
