Popular and rapidly growing financial house seeks Senior Sales Trader, ideally with 5 plus years experience in Tokyo. Will be the contact person between this firm and member users in a market making role.
The candidate needs to be very knowledgeable about the equity markets and institutional trading trends. He or she must be able to develop strong, long-term relationships with customers by serving as a value-added resource. He/she must be able to successfully nurture those relationships through client entertaining and regular phone contact. This person will partner with the Member firms and product teams, and can immediately troubleshoot customer issues as they arise. Qualification (bullet points):
•5+ years experience as an Equity Sales Trader; Agency Program Trading experience preferred •Experience successfully managing institutional equity client relationships •Familiarity with quantitative trading strategies, Pre and Post Trade analytics •Superior communication skills; self-motivated; responsible •Strong math & technology skills •Dynamic personality with proven ability to interact/entertain clients is a must. •JSDA license is required. •Existing buy-side relationships preferred. •Ability to travel as required •English and Japanese language skills ideally required
