Our client, a small Asset Manager which is part of a large, well-known bank, is currently looking to recruit a Legal Officer for their Luxembourg operations. In this role you will be the only Legal responsible for Luxembourg and report directly to the Managing Director.
THE ROLE
Follow the life of the funds (alternative and structured products).
Collect all necessary information for the funds files and follow up with CSSF.
Establish and maintain effective relations with CSSF and ALFI.
Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and implement as necessary.
Take part in conferences and working groups thereby representing the company.
Work in close collaboration with the Legal department of the Head Office.
THE PROFILE
University degree in Law and approx 2-3 years experience within Asset Management/Funds.
Sound knowledge of Luxembourg regulations and experience in dealing with CSSF/ ALFI.
Fluent French and English.
Analytical mind, independent, initiative and well organized.
