Our client, one of the world’s leading investment banks, is looking to recruit a senior candidate to head up one of their middle office teams with a focus on trade support and change management.
The successful candidate will be critical in taking the already strong team to the next level and improving existing systems to minimize loss and support the business with unparalleled service.
The role will require you to take ownership of a medium to large team within the middle office and drive them to offer top grade support to the business across various products within the Equities business. On a more strategic level you will have the opportunity to work with regional and global counterparts to develop and drive core objectives and ensure these are achieved. Apart from the day to day running of the team and the overall strategy you will be part of setting and maintaining budgets, developing controls for the array of products traded by the business and responsible for improving existing workflow.
Apart from the prerequisite ten years experience within operations or trade support and strong product knowledge in Equities you must have flare, energy and the determination to get the job done in an efficient manner. You will know the Asian markets well and be able to build networks across both the region and the globe to ensure a smooth flow of information and trades. You will be flexible and pro-active and most importantly be a leader.
