We are seeking a Senior Product Manager that will be responsible for the definition and design of a new RMS software solution that translates client data and RMS modeled outputs into actionable catastrophe risk intelligence.

The successful candidate will possess a high analytical aptitude, a solutions orientation, a focus on execution, and a comprehensive understanding of catastrophe risk management principles. This person will be responsible for defining product requirements and functional specifications for best-in-class information visualization, analytical methods, and usability that differentiate from competitive solutions and meet our clients' needs. This person will demonstrate successful execution of our product strategy and enhance our distinct competency in the marketplace, while serving as the primary evangelist internally and externally for this solution.
In this role you will:
Develop a deep understanding of client needs, the marketplace, and competitive landscape, and translate business needs into actionable product requirements and functional specifications.
Lead cross-functional development, QA, and data teams to design and deliver client-focused, high-quality solutions.
Serve as a client advocate to this cross-functional team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that the product developed is relevant and compelling to our clients.
Guide the interaction design process for the product in collaboration with the product development organization.
Work closely with the Core Applications Platform team to inform architectural requirements that accommodate new analytics and workflows.
Take proactive ownership for outcomes and anticipate potential risks, putting appropriate mitigation plans in place.
Qualifications:

5-7 years of analytical experience with catastrophe modeling software and principles.
Outstanding analytical/problem-solving skills and conceptual thinking ability
Superior interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to be a team player, great negotiation and decision-making skills
Strong track record of successful collaboration with sales, service, and product development teams to deliver high impact results
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal are critical
Ability to function effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing organization that is highly energetic and fast paced
BA/BS degree required (preference in math, finance, statistics, or other quantitative area)
MBA/consulting experience a plus
Should be willing to travel to clients as necessary
