Our client is an expanding and well established private equity fund. They have offices in major Asian countries. The company is currently undergoing fast growth, and to cope with this, they look for ambitious talent to join their finance team for their fund operation.
Banking & Insurance Practice
Main Responsibilities:
In charge of fund consolidation and financial management of investment fund
Handling monthly closings of the fund level entries independently
Producing quarterly and annual financial statements
Maintaining and reconciling fund model data on a quarterly basis
Liaising with auditors as part of annual audit
Ensuring efficient control and recording of transactions
Working alongside Investor Reporting team to provide answers to investor queries
Generating ad-hoc reports for the Investment Management team and Fund Management team
Monitoring cash and liquidity position of the fund
Ensuring sufficient monies are in place to finance property acquisitions
Ensuring GAAP compliance of the fund entities
Reviewing all accounting and finance matters related to the new deals initiative
Managing FX risk, including risk assessment of risks, development and implementation of hedging strategies with Group Treasury and CFO, management and execution of transactions, and management of positions
Key Requirements:
Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Commerce
Professional Qualifications with not less than 4 years relevant experience
Strong fund administration and consolidation experience under IFRS and US GAAP
Exposure in fund / LPA accounting is preferable
Previous exposure to foreign currency reporting, experience in property accounting is a definite asset
Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including travel within the Asia Region
Commitment to high standards, and ability to operate effectively in a changing environment
Confident decision making and ability to be proactive
Advanced SUN systems capability and experience, and advanced excel modeling skills
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, organizational and management skills
