Formed at the start of this decade, and developed by ex-senior bulge bracket bankers, our client has established itself as one of the most respected advisors in the distressed debt advisory space.

Rather than the typical model, this business works innovatively with a select number of well known institutional investors, typically hedge funds. It then links them to their corporate clients and arranges tailor-made financing solutions for distressed situations. The firm’s revenues grew by almost 300% last year placing the firm in a very strong position.

Current recruitment plans are to increase the work force by around 20% this year with additions across both its M&A and debt advisory practices as well as within a specialist advisory group it hosts which focuses on an extremely lucrative and niche sector.

Given the complex nature of the deals this firm focuses on the individual coming on board will need to be very smart. Although a leveraged finance or debt advisory background is fine to be considered, some previous exposure to distressed situations would be advantageous.

THE CANDIDATE:

• You will have first class academics inclduding a minimum 2.1 degree from a top university.
• It is imperative that your spoken and written English skills are exceptional.
• You will have a strong track record in building and maintaining strong business relationships.
• You will have at the very least three years experience in a top institution working on leveraged finance and/or debt advisory.
• You will be highly driven and motivated towards joining a fast-growing and entrepreneurial business in which you aim to reach Partnership.
