An excellent new London based opportunity for an experienced corporate banker to source, develop and drive new business in the commercial banking segment with a particular focus on leisure, encompassing, inter alia, pubs, restaurants and gaming.

A key role in an expanding commercial banking team where the emphasis is on originating, developing and delivering a range of banking opportunities and establishing new client relationships both direct to prospects and via introducers. Excellent credit and risk skills are also of paramount importance as is a demonstrable track record in the leisure sector. We are looking for • a team player with ability to motivate self and others to deliver strong individual and team performances • an effective communicator with proven ability to influence others • a proven track record in effective sales performance and activity management in the healthcare sector • good commercial awareness and judgement to make effective transaction decisions • a sound knowledge of credit and lending practices and /or complementary skills • solid analytical / problem solving skills • a highly motivated individual capable of working to tight deadlines • excellent presentation and interpersonal skills • strong strategic awareness • an ability to develop a team going forward
