Functional Goal:
Manage the maintenance of the Firm's mechanical and electrical systems at the current Two and Three Exchange Square offices (Hong Kong 2ES & TES), Mega advantage (Hong Kong IAD), Shanghai Stock Exchange (Shanghai SSE), Silver Tower (Beijing BEI), Union Enterprise Tower (Twain UEP). Provide daily support as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Firm's engineering facilities. Assist in the organization, scheduling and management of mechanical and electrical aspects relating to all moves and changes in 2ES, TES, IAD, BEI, SSE and UEP. Ensure that all engineering activities are undertaken to a high standard reflecting Credit Suisse's policies on environmental principles, diversity, security and health and safety. Liaison with the Local authorities for, TES, IAD, BEI, SSE and UEP. Liaison with Landlords on technical issues Core Responsibilities:
Management of the mechanical and electrical services for Hong Kong Reporting to Regional Critical Engineering Systems Manager to ensure appropriate maintenance regimes and relevant contracts are in place Oversee vendors performing scheduled servicing and maintenance, co-ordinate attendance with the CRES team as required. Manage the activities and oversee the performance of external contractors, escalate issues to CES and CRES management as necessary Conduct regular reviews of all the Firm's facilities, utilising technologies such as BMS and power meter monitoring systems Issue engineering reports as required Manage and arrange unscheduled repairs (24x7 hours) Manage Integrated Systems Tests in conjunction with Regional CES manager Manage capital projects and the engineering teams as assigned Moves and Changes Co-ordination meetings with clients, users, CRES, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT staff for all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering required to satisfy business facilities moves and changes Oversee relevant contractors Projects Assist in all premises projects as required Co-ordinate with Regional CES manager, and visit smaller offices in South East Asia sub-region to develop basic understanding of installed systems and assist with projects as required Local Authorities liaison Building Control Authority, Civil Defence, Public Utilities Board Landlord liaison Building Services requirements Co-ordination of servicing common facilities
Requirements: Technically qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering with the experience to apply to both disciplines Experienced and competent in the principles of maintaining and servicing mechanical and electrical installations Understanding of design applications relevant to critical systems engineering Able to co-ordinate and manage mechanical and electrical projects PC literate, Microsoft word, excel, outlook, projects, Visio, Cad (+), Must have good written communication skills
Skills Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
