Description: The Middle Office Operations Team is responsible for making sure that every trade the client does is accurately reflected on the hedge fund’s books and records. This role involves performing trade, position, and cash reconciliations and reviewing OTC trade confirmations. The group is also responsible for processing corporate actions for the fund’s portfolio. The Middle Office Ops team is made up of experienced professions who understand a wide array of financial instruments and operational processes.

Qualifications: exposure in middle office, P & L reporting, operations processing, financial instruments knowledge (equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures), knowledge of hedge or mutual funds

Description: • Preparing daily flash P&L

• Review all MTM changes and pricing variances

• Understand hedging issues on P&L

• Reconcile daily P&L with fund administration

• Understand the P&L effects of all open items with the brokers or clients

• Reconcile P&L effects of Corporate Actions reporting for all funds

• Support the conversion of all new clients

• Work with Operations Specialists on any opens issues per client

• Assist in checking testing results for all in house system enhancements

• Verify SMF set up to ensure proper P&L capture and risk management reporting

Qualifications: 6+yrs financial services, P&L Reporting, product knowledge (domestic and global markets, Fixed income/derivatives), hedge or mutual funds
